I’m so excited to announce that I am Guest Designing for Our Daily Bread Designs! I found this company last year and fell in love with their products.
Today, I’m featuring the new Easter Greetings stamp set, which has some GORGEOUS hyacinth flowers! I have always loved these flowers, but I thought they only came in purple. A quick search showed me that they also come in Yellow, Pink, and white. Take a look at this beautiful stamp:
Isn’t it gorgeous?! I heat embossed the stamp first, then used some Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to get the variation in colors on this one. The background is actually dry embossed using a die from Our Daily Bread Designs called Vintage Flourish Pattern. It is a beautiful die when used to cut, too! But here I thought the soft look of embossing was so beautiful.
I used a paper pack called Plum Pizzazz for the background and the Happy Spring purple paper. Such a fun paper pack!
Then, once I learned that Hyacinths come in a variety of colors, I of course had to make another card! I used the same dry embossing technique and created a completely different look:
I used Distress Inks to give the embossed background an Ombre look. So pretty, right?
